Rail.S arbeitete dabei mit den vier weiteren europäischen Bahntechnikclustern DITECFER (Italien), i-Trans (Frankreich), RCSEE (Serbien), RailAlliance (UK) zusammen. Unter anderem wurde im April 2019 eine Unternehmerreise organisiert, um den Bahntechnikmarkt im Nordosten der USA zu erkunden. In April 2019, a business trip was organized to explore the railway technology market in the northeast of the USA. EXXTRA – Excellence Exchange and Teaming-up between Railway Clusters and Ecosystems (2020-2022) Im strategischen ERCI-Projekt EXXTRA wird die Vernetzung der europäischen Cluster, Unternehmen und Regionen mit mehr Angeboten zur Internationalisierung und Open Innovation für KMU weiter gestärkt. Unter anderem wird „Erasmus für Cluster und Mitglieder“ implementiert, das KMU, Start-Ups, wachsenden Organisationen und Hochschul- und Forschungsinstituten dazu verhilft, eine Woche in einem „EXXTRA-Land“ zu verbringen (Italien, Dänemark, Deutschland, Frankreich, Spanien, Türkei), um dort Best Practices zu lernen und/oder Technologietransfer zu ermöglichen. Dazu gehören ein besseres Verständnis der Investitionsaspekte und der Kapitalrendite, Schulungen und Unterstützung in Bezug auf Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten sowie Unterstützung bei der Fortbildung und Umschulung. Das Projekt umfasst elf Bahntechnologie-Cluster sowie fünf Technologiezentren und wird von 30 wichtigen europäischen Organisationen unterstützt, darunter das EU-JU Shift2Rail. The aim of STARS is to promote networking between the new and old economy within the rail industry and to support SMEs in the introduction of advanced technologies. This includes a better understanding of investment aspects and return on investment, training and support on financing opportunities as well as support for upskilling and reskilling. The project comprises eleven rail technology clusters and five technology centres and is supported by 30 key European organisations, including the EU-JU Shift2Rail. S-ACCESS – Smes ACCESS to international public procurements (2021-2024) S-ACCESS zielt darauf ab, europäische Mittelstandsunternehmen zur Teilnahme an außereuropäischen Ausschreibungsverfahren zu befähigen, um bisher ungenutzte Marktpotenziale im internationalen Raum erschließen zu können. Zielmärkte der S-ACCESS-Aktivitäten sind die USA, Kanada und Norwegen, damit schließt das Projekt an PERES an. An dem Projekt sind neben Rail.S die ERCI-Partner DITECFER (Italien), i-trans (Frankreich), RailAlliance (UK), RCSEE (Serbien), MAFEX (Spanien) und Järnvägsklustret (Schweden) beteiligt. The project aims to encourage European small SMEs to participate in nonEuropean public tender procedures in order to tap previously untapped market potential in the international arena. The target markets of the S-ACCESS activities are the USA, Canada and Norway, so the project follows on from PERES. Besides Rail.S, the ERCI partners DITECFER (Italy), i-trans (France), RailAlliance (UK), RCSEE (Serbia), MAFEX (Spain) and Järnvägsklustret (Sweden) are involved in the project.
